Happy first day of spring!
Seriously, I never thought this day would come.
Of course, a date on the calendar doesn’t mean the temperatures will suddenly level out at 65 degrees, but it is a sign that warmer weather is around the corner … which mean I can finally banish those oversize, bulky wool sweaters and long socks and down jackets that I have been living in the last four months. Sayonara.
So now I am thinking ahead to spring and the ways I would love to revamp my spring wardrobe. Can I just say how excited I am to see black and white is sticking around?! It’s sad, but I’d say 40% of my wardrobe consists of either solid black and white, or black and white patterns (mostly stripes). I love pairing black and white with a pop of color, like red (like the Old Navy D’Orsay flats below).
I have been coveting denim shirts for a season or two now, and now that I’m finally starting to get over my late 90s flashbacks (which is the last time I think I owned a denim shirt … and may have even rocked some “double denim”), I think I’m ready to bite the bullet.
The best part is that none of the items listed below (with the exception of the Hudson jeans, which I am obsessed with) are over $100 … and some (like the pieces from Piperline, Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy) can be purchased together, meaning they also qualify for free shipping!
1. Loft dress 2. Old Navy pointed toe flat 3. Kate Spade bow earrings 4. Kate Spade necklace 5. Embellished top 6. Gap pant 7. Seychelles shoes 8. Sleeveless shell 9. Hudson Jeans jeans 10. LOFT black wedge sandals 11. Banana Republic denim shirt 12. Gap pink jeans 13. Nine West flats

I love my Hudson jeans…although pricey..I will treat myself to a pair a few times a year and they will last forever {maybe because I mostly live in my workout wear} speaking of with Spring here…it is the perfect time to stock up on the latest for workout clothing and some new colors 🙂

Ahhhh, workout gear is my weakness!!!! I’m trying to hold out for as long as possible before I splurge (although I am in the market for a new running skirt, if anyone has any suggestions :>).
