I admit it: I usually have, oh, maybe 10 minutes to do my hair in the morning before work. No matter how much I plan ahead, my hair always ends up last on my “get ready” list, usually coming in after helping Buddy find missing sock and arguing outfit choices with Mimi. As a result, I usually end up going to work with slightly damp, and often frizzy, hair. But last week I finally decided enough was enough and splurged on the Infiniti Pro by Conair® 3Q™ Brushless Motor Dryer and the Infiniti Pro by Conair Curl Secret, along with a Conair 90-pack of bobby pins and a new Conair Velvet Paddle brush (which I desperately needed).
And — whoa — it’s been like night and day!
First, let’s talk about the Infiniti Pro 3Q Brushless Moto Dryer. It claims to dry your hair in record time with lower temperatures and faster air flow. I admit I was initially dubious, but seriously, it dries my hair in like half the time! Talk about a time-saver!
Of course, this works well on the days when I want a smooth blow out. But on humid or rainy days, when my hair naturally wants to wave, or on days when I feel like something different, I like to curl my hair. I’ve tried curling irons and curling wands and I either end up burning my hands or ending up with frizzy or Goldilocks-like curls, not the beachy waves I’m going for.
But then I tried the Infiniti Pro by Conair Curl Secret. Or, as I like to call it, my secret weapon.
Basically it takes a half inch strand of hair and draws it into the chamber, giving you smooth, frizz-free curls in anywhere between 8-12 seconds, thanks to its tourmaline-ceramic technology. The iron beeps when its time to release the curl, and voila! There’s a lot of flexibility, too, with 2 heat levels and 3 timer settings that can give you a variety or curls, from tighter ringlets to looser curls.
I’m a big fan of looser, beachy waves, so I placed the iron about halfway up, using one of the lower settings. Once the iron beeps and I release the curl, I immediately tousle it with my fingers to break it up and make it look a little more natural…more wavy than curly.
It did take a little while to get the hang of it (especially when I had to do the right side of my head), but once I did, I was able to curl my entire head in less than 10 minutes!
Once my hair is curled, there are so many options! One of my favorite ways to wear my wavy hair it to have it loose during the work day and then — for night time — pull just the hair around the crown and secure them with two Conair bobby pins, placed in an X formation to hold it secure.
By the next day, my curls had become pretty, loose waves that looked fantastic pulled into a low ponytail.
And just for comparison ….
For my fellow busy mamas, there are two other bonuses of the Infiniti Pro by Conair Curl Secret that I have to share: it heats up in 30 seconds and has an auto-shut off after 60 minutes (perfect for me, who tends to have a panic attack, mid-commute, that I left my curling iron on).
I think either the Infiniti Pro by Conair Curl Secret or the Infiniti Pro 3Q Brushless Motor Dryer would make for a fabulous holiday gift for the lady in your life! And guess what — you can find them both at Walmart.

We have the same shower curtain, except mine is blue!
I love the curls…the Curl Secret is the only thing that will hold in my hair!
