Happy Friday! Sorry I missed last week! It was the night of our town’s big PTA fundraiser, which I was helping to coordinate, and things were crazy-busy.
This week’s Five for Friday is a bit of a hodgepodge, because that’s kind of how my brain is feeling these days 😉 But here are five things I am totally loving this week:
ONE // Pomegranate seeds. They add a yummy, crunchy, antioxidant-filled boost to my morning oatmeal and cereal. But why are they so darn expensive? Grrrrr.
TWO // Pear-banana-cinnamon smoothies. I was so excited about this this new concoction, until I added a few sprinkles of celery salt into my blender instead of cinnamon. #fail. But even with that extra dose of sodium, it was still yummy. Can’t wait to make it again (salt-free).
THREE // My Thirty-One gym bag! Now that I have the opportunity to visit the gym during my lunch break, I realized I needed a gym bag that I wouldn’t be embarrassed to be seen carrying by my colleagues. This bag from Thirty-One totally fit the bill – it is practical, roomy, and super cute. (Wait, what’s that? You want me to give one away? Hmmm, you’ll have to check back next week.)
FOUR // Ponds BB+ cream. There are so many different kinds of BB (and CC and DD) creams out there. Literally, every brand has one. Months ago, I received the Pond’s version in an Influenster box and I tell you, it’s my clear favorite. It’s thicker than most, so it feels moisturizing; it has SPF; and the color is perfect for my fair skin. And it’s only $10!
FIVE // Bart Yasso. I can’t believe the running guru (and Runner’s World chief running officer) gave me shout-outs on social media this week! Pinch me. I’m so excited to meet him in person in June at the Runner’s World Heartbreak Hill Half & Festival!
