I am very particular about headbands, especially when I’m out running. On most days, I’ll wear a hat because I detest that feeling of sweat or stray wispies against my forehead mid-run. Over the years, I’ve found a rare few that work on my round head, and now I’m adding another headband to that exclusive list: Bondi Band.
They’re a much wider headband than what I’m used to, and to be honest, I thought I was going to hate it, having so much stretchy fabric on my forehead. But actually, I barely noticed it, it didn’t budge at all, and it sopped up all the sweat that would have otherwise rolled down my face during my long run on Sunday (my first true warm, summer-like run of the season). Although Bondi Band began with only headbands (which are made of a unique blend of nylon, lycra, and spandex), it has expanded and now includes a full line of headwear, compression gear, and other accessories for women, men, and children.
And the non-profit professional in me loves that they don’t just believe in giving back, but they actually do it. Each year, they donate 10% of our pretax profits to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute right here in Boston!
The headbands come in every design, color, quote, and mantra imaginable. I rocked the “Strong is the New Skinny” band on my 6+ miler over the weekend and have my eye on, oh, at least a dozen other designs. It’s a good thing that I have a special discount just for you!
Visit the Bondi Bands website and use the discount count SWEAT PINK (not case sensitive) and receive 10% off all items except Bargain Bin, Design Your Own, and Custom Items. It is good through June 28th.
And … drumroll please … I’m giving away this cute, tongue-in-cheek pink Bondi Band headband to one lucky KMS reader.
Entering is easy – just check out the entry form below. However, this is a quick one: it closes on Saturday, June 7 at 12:00am ET. (Please note that the winner will be notified the following day, as I will be attending the Runner’s World Heartbreak Hill Half & Festival this weekend). a Rafflecopter giveaway

I’m always looking for new headbands. I normally wear skinny ones but once I’m sweating they end up moving and I gave to readjust. Bugs me! These bands are really cute!

I have my own routine combining squats, kicks, punches, crunches, leg lifts and resistance bands. It works too, I’ve lost nearly 60 pounds, 5 more until my goal is reached! I actually enjoy working out now!
